Mobile Application Developer
More and more workers require a mobile answer to their field service challenges, especially when it comes to assessing and quoting comprehensive facility and energy solutions. As a StreamLinx mobile application developer, you will design, create and enhance functional and attractive mobile applications that integrate with the StreamLinx cloud platform and provide powerful user productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
- Design, programming, integration, testing & debugging of StreamLinx mobile software applications
- Build prototypes to test use case designs
- Integrate mobile software to core data and application interface extensions
- Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
- Work with web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
- Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
- Standardizing the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
- Optimizing performance for the apps
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
Skills & Experience:
- BA/BS in information technology, computer science or similar curriculum
- Experience in structured programming
- Working knowledge of HTML, SQL, Java, javascript and jQuery
- Experience with mobile development frameworks like PhoneGap is a plus
- Excellent organization and written / verbal communication skills
- A passion for new consumer technology and the emerging media landscape
- Ability to multi-task and good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
